Thank you for shopping at Shiralee Pottery and supporting handmade Canadian business. Please take a look at the policies before making your purchase and feel free to email me with any further questions.
For ready to ship items your pottery will be packaged and ready to go within 3 days of receiving your payment. Extra care and attention is taken to package your pottery to ensure it arrives safely. Your location as well as the weight and size of your purchase determines shipping costs via Canada Post’s calculator. After being shipped, your package may take 2-9 days to arrive through Canada Post Standard Mail. If you are local to the studio, you may arrange to pick up your item (non-contact porch pickup due to COVID-19).
If you’re interested in a custom order, please reach out to discuss what you have in mind. They will take extra time (3-4 weeks to make) and can include additional costs and a deposit. Custom orders will be delivered within 4-6 weeks to allow time for making, glazing, firing and shipping.
Returns and Exchanges
All sales are considered final, but please contact me if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase. I take my time to package your pottery with care. It hasn’t happened yet, but if your parcel arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible (send a photo within 3 days of receiving shipment). You can choose a similar item of your choice for an exchange and I will take care of the shipping or I can refund your purchase (shipping costs will not be refunded).
All items are dishwasher safe, but feel free to hand wash if you wish. Your pottery can be used in the microwave, but use caution as they retain heat and will be hot to the touch. You can use your pottery to bake your favourite dishes or dips in the oven, but DO NOT PREHEAT to reduce thermal shock and risk of cracking. If your pottery was in the freezer, allow it to come to room temperature before placing it in a cool oven.
Size, Shape and Colour
Your pottery is handmade and each piece will vary slightly in size, shape and colour. I take my time to ensure that each photo is listed accurately but by their nature, they will be perfectly imperfect. I hope you enjoy this aspect of pottery as much as our family does.
